How It Works

Three steps to clarity

No medical degree required. No phone calls. No waiting on hold with your insurance company.

1

Upload your bill

Take a photo with your phone or upload a PDF of your medical bill, hospital statement, or Explanation of Benefits (EOB). We accept any format — PDF, JPG, PNG, or HEIC.

Your document is encrypted in transit and never stored after analysis. We don't need your name, insurance details, or any account information.

2

AI analyzes every line

Our AI reads every billing code on your bill — CPT codes, HCPCS codes, revenue codes — and translates each one into plain English. No more mysterious five-digit numbers.

Each charge is compared against Medicare's published reimbursement rates, which serve as the national benchmark for fair pricing. If a charge is significantly above the benchmark, we flag it.

We check for the most common billing errors: duplicate charges, upcoding (being billed for a more expensive service than you received), unbundling (services that should be grouped charged separately), and charges that don't match your EOB.

3

Get your report

In about 60 seconds, you get a complete breakdown: what each charge is, what it should cost, whether it looks correct, and what you actually owe.

Your report includes a bill health score, a summary of total charges vs. what's fair, and a line-by-line analysis with flags for anything that looks wrong.

If we find errors, we can generate a dispute letter you can send directly to your provider's billing department — citing the specific codes, the correct rates, and your rights under the No Surprises Act.

What we check for

Duplicate charges

The same service billed twice — sometimes on the same line, sometimes days apart. One of the most common and costly errors.

Upcoding

Being billed for a more complex or expensive service than what was actually performed. A routine visit coded as a complex one.

Unbundling

Services that should be grouped under one code billed separately to inflate the total. Common with surgical procedures.

Price benchmarking

Every charge compared against Medicare's published national rates. If you're being charged 10x the benchmark, you should know.
